Where is this furniture made?

We are very proud of the origin of our furniture! Our products are designed, manufactured, assembled, polished and packaged in Italy. Our furniture is produced by carpentry shops in Northern Italy. Ours is a 100% made in Italy handcrafted product.

Can I change the measurements of your furniture?

To keep costs down, we make small batches for each item but on request we can produce custom-made furniture or individual pieces. For special needs do not hesitate to contact us we will prepare a quote.

I'm undecided about more colors how can I see them live?

Ask us for the colors you are interested in and we will be happy to send you samples.
You will be asked for a contribution for shipping of € 15.00 which will be deducted
from any order.

Can I have a different color or handle from your sample books?

We can create colors to the sample and customized finishes both dyed and lacquered

What are the warranty terms?

All products are accompanied by a regular invoice, valid as a 24-month Legal Warranty. We recommend that you keep your invoice as proof of purchase. To access a warranty service, simply send an email with your data specifying the nature of the problem encountered. We always intervene as quickly as possible, compatibly with the nature of the problem detected.

Where can I buy the products?

Our products can only be purchased on the Homeinstyleitaly.com portal by filling in order in all its parts.

How can I buy your products?

Choose and configure the products you like and place them in the cart. You can complete your purchase on the site and receive our items directly at home. After you have placed your order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail from us to confirm that your orders have been received. However, do note that orders will only be shipped when your credit card payment has been approved and billing and delivery address is verified. Alternatively, you may check the status of your order in “My Account” if you are a registered user.

Do I have to register to buy?

No, you don't. You can make purchases and check out as a guest every time.
However, by creating an account with us, it will allow you to order without having to enter your details every time you shop with us. You can sign up now, or you can start shopping and create your account before you checkout on the shopping cart page.

Can I return a piece of furniture I purchased?

Purchases made online are guaranteed by the Consumer Code, which provides for the possibility of return for items that are not "tailor-made or personalized". ALMOST ALL THE PRODUCTS FOUND ON THE SITE FALL INTO THIS CATEGORY, as they undergo a finishing phase after purchase. Of course, this has no influence on the Legal Guarantee, which is always valid.

Are there other payment methods besides bank transfer and credit card?

To date, we do not accept other payment methods.

Do you issue a payment receipt ?

On request, at the time of the order, following payment, we issue a regular sales invoice. The invoice will be issued in electronic format. What are the delivery times?

The preparation time for the order generally varies from 3 to 4 weeks. To these must be added the courier's delivery times which can vary from area to area. See the DELIVERY TIMES section.

How does the delivery take place?

Collect:
Our warehouses are located in Carugo (CO) and are accessible by appointment only. We strongly advise against collection with express couriers, who do not specialize in the transport of furniture.
Shipping on the street plan:
For our deliveries, we collaborate with the best couriers specialized in the transport of furniture. The rate is calculated on the cubic capacity (the volume) of the items purchased.
(Services always included:
Double delivery notice: we call you to confirm that the shipment has left, the carrier will call you (1-2 days before) to indicate the time it arrives for delivery. Please note: this is not a delivery by appointment.)
Street level delivery: a person arrives to deliver alone. In the case of heavy packages, one or two people will be needed to help with the unloading.

Can I change the delivery address?

You can only change the delivery address if the goods have not yet been delivered to the courier. Notify us by email of the change of destination.
We will update any shipping costs and possibly you will be refunded the difference.

Can I pick up the goods myself?

You can pick up directly from our warehouses by appointment only. Check with us beforehand the volume and weight of the goods to be collected. If you send us your own courier, make sure they specialize in transporting furniture.

Can I postpone a delivery?

If the goods have not yet been handed over to the courier, it is possible to postpone the delivery up to a maximum of thirty days.

Can I decide when to have the goods delivered to me?

When ordering, you can specify the month in which you prefer to havethe goods.

I like one of your products but would like it in another size?

What do I do if the furniture arrives defective?

In addition to the 24-month consumer code warranty, you have the Home in Style Italy warranty: if the furniture arrives defective we will arrange it at our own expense. Check the unloading for defects. If the packaging is damaged, sign the documents with the words "withdrawal with reserve" for damaged packaging".

Do you have an exhibition at your location?

In our headquarters you will not find items on display, but you will find samples of the colors that we can make. If you want to come and visit us, always remember to make an appointment.

How do you assemble this furniture?

In the product sheet of each item there is an indication of the difficulty you may encounter in assembling our furniture.
1-"No assembly required": the cabinet arrives assembled, with the possible exception of small details such as screwing the handles, inserting the internal shelves, applying feet, extremely simple operations within everyone's reach.
2-"Easy assembly": assembly operations are simple and within the reach of most people. You may need some common tools, such as a screwdriver or Allen key. Typical examples are dining tables, which have 2 screws per leg, or beds, which can be assembled with a simple Allen key.
3-"Assembly for experts": assembly operations require a certain amount of manual skill and experience. In addition to normal tools, the use of an electric screwdriver may be recommended. The greatest difficulties are generally due to adjustments, such as those necessary on the hardware of sliding or hinged cabinets.
