To clean the furniture, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and then wipe it with a dry one, preferably made of cotton. Do not leave any water residue and do not use chemical, alcohol-based or acid-based products that could ruin the finish. The furniture is after polishing treated with beeswax pulled by hand; This naturally protects the treated surfaces, making the finish more elastic and long-lasting. Do not place hot objects directly in contact with surfaces.
WHY WOOD: Having a piece of wooden furniture in your home is not just a matter of style or taste. Its mechanical and technological properties such as resistance, hardness, good polishability make it a perfect material for furniture production. Chemical and physical properties are essential for creating a healthy living climate. Wood is a perfect thermal and electrical insulator, i.e. it protects against heat and cold but easily shields us from magnetic fields. The strong hygroscopic property allows moisture to be stored in rainy seasons and released in drier periods. Wooden furniture not only makes the environment in which we live more balanced and healthy, but it is also good for our planet. Recent studies define that in order to support and certify the eco-sustainability of a product, it is necessary to analyze the 5 phases of the product's life cycle: Acquisition of raw materials, production, distribution and storage, use and end of life. Wood from sustainably managed forests makes it possible to produce green and eco-sustainable furniture.
ARTE POVERA: Arte Povera is an artistic movement born in the second half of the twentieth century. It was one of its leading exponents who defined it as the art of reducing signs to a minimum, of impoverishing signs to reduce them to their archetypes. Emphasis is given not only to the work itself but also to the elements used, the materials used and the gestures of the artist. In the furnishings this is declined with the use of materials such as solid wood and thanks to the imagination and originality of skilled hands and artistic gestures, furniture with essential and sober lines is created. In the furniture sector, the definition of Arte Povera takes on the meaning of functionality, sturdiness and prestigious artefacts. The product is the result of a production process in which manual skills and craftsmanship are expressed at the highest levels.
