CONSOLLE
The console table is a small piece of furniture made in numerous styles and sizes. Its classic location is the entrance because, given its small size, it lends itself well to being placed in a generally small environment. Very convenient as a place to store keys, documents or smartphones when you return home, it is also often used as a decorative element to make the entrance more welcoming. It is completed with mirrors and decorated with photo frames or knick-knacks. It is the classic piece of furniture that combines utility with aesthetics to make your home more and more functional and elegant.
To clean the furniture, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and then wipe it with a dry one, preferably in cotton. Do not leave any water residue and do not use chemical, alcohol-based or acid-based products that could ruin the finish. The furniture is after polishing treated with beeswax pulled by hand; This naturally protects the treated surfaces, making it a more elastic and long-lasting finish. Do not place hot objects directly in contact with surfaces.
LEAF FINISH The gold or silver leaf finish is a particular processing technique known and used since the times of the Egyptians and Greeks who used it to decorate temples and statues. The simplest procedure is based on the use of gold or silver leaves reduced to very fine square sheets of about ten centimeters per side. The product is first cleaned of impurities and then sprinkled with a liquid adhesive that covers the entire surface to be treated. The leaves are placed one at a time next to each other, taking particular care to make them adhere perfectly to the surface to be decorated with the help of a brush or pad. The process ends with the application of a final protective varnish that repairs and gives shine. It is a purely artisanal process whose result is the sum of patience, experience and skill. This type of baroque-inspired workmanship has been widely used in recent years and aims to insert some decorative elements such as dressers or armchairs in modern-style environments, giving a touch of class and luxury to the environment.
