JOYCE chest of drawers
Measurements L.126 D.55 H.117 cm
Joyce is a four-drawer dresser. The top is sturdy with a rounded edge and an elegant undermount frame. The first drawer has a flap front and turns into a convenient jewelry box and has compartments and two drawers inside. The drawers all have a smooth front framed by a refined shape and structurally have the characteristic dovetail workmanship that guarantees solidity and resistance. To complete we find the linear and simple plinth but embellished with an inlay that characterizes the piece. Joyce is an Italian handcrafted product with attention to detail and customizable in numerous colors.
Technical sheet: toulipier plated blockboard structure, solid toulipier frames and plinths, 6/8mm poplar plywood backrest, plywood drawers with dovetail joint, solid toulipier wood carvings
To clean the furniture, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and then wipe it with a dry one, preferably made of cotton. Do not leave any water residue and do not use chemical, alcohol-based or acid-based products that could ruin the finish. The furniture is after polishing treated with beeswax pulled by hand; This naturally protects the treated surfaces, making the finish more elastic and long-lasting. Do not place hot objects directly in contact with surfaces.
CARVING: Carving is a form of artistic processing by which recessed or relief ornaments are made on wooden surfaces. The process consists of sculpting an object using special tools. By removing excess wood, you can highlight the figure, design or ornament you want to represent. The technique is handed down by master craftsmen and is acquired with experience, dedication and good taste. The carving represents a decorative aspect that enhances the artifact, giving it a touch of quality and value.
DOVETAIL JOINT: The dovetail joint is a very resistant type of joint that allows two wooden planks to be joined at right angles. Thanks to the use of special milling machines, the edge of both axes is engraved, forming a trapezoidal-shaped joint similar to the tail of a swallow. The resulting joint has a very elegant appearance and is intended to withstand continuous and consistent stress.
