Description

OTTO Como'

Measurements L.92 D.44 H.79 cm

Otto is a chest of drawers with two drawers. The top is finely shaped on the edge. The two-drawer front echoes the wave-shaped shape of the top. The sides are framed with a smooth inner panel. Characteristic are the sabre-shaped legs rounded on the edge and engraved. Otto is a refined comoncino that, thanks to its small size, is also well suited to furnishing corridors and entrances. Made in French style, it is often enhanced by lacquered finishes. Made in Italy, it can be customized in different finishes.

LACQUERING Lacquering is a type of finish that has lacquer as its basic element, i.e. a coloured opaque paint (polyester or polyurethane). The artifact is previously checked, sanded to eliminate any imperfections of the wood and then a layer of lacquer is applied by hand using special airbrushes. The process then ends with finishing and drying in the pressurized cabin. The effect of the lacquer is usually opaque but by using particularly porous essences such as ash or oak we can also obtain an open-pore lacquer. The colors we have available for our furniture are infinite and include all color scales (Ral, Ncs, Pantone..). With the lacquered finish you can dress your furniture in the color you prefer or better matches your environment.

SHABBY CHIC The shabby chic is a much-loved and appreciated style of furniture that has become widely used in recent years. Similar to Provençal, it finds its origin in English country houses. Literally translated as worn, aged and worn, it takes on a value of refinement and elegance combined with the term chic. The love for the environment and the values of sustainability are well combined with this style that is based on the possibility of transforming an old and valuable piece of furniture into a unique piece of high impact. Recycling and upcycling of furniture becomes the soul of this style. The furnishings are aged, used but in warm tones and pastel shades. Wood is the absolute protagonist but never rough and always finely decorated with lacquers manually antiqued by expert craftsmen. The carvings, the ashlars, the moldings of the furnishings create an atmosphere full of charm in which each element seems to tell its own personal experience.
