WHY WOOD Having a piece of wooden furniture in your home is not just a matter of style or taste. Its mechanical and technological properties such as resistance, hardness, good polishability make it a perfect material for furniture production. Chemical and physical properties are essential for creating a healthy living climate. Wood is a perfect thermal and electrical insulator, i.e. it protects us from heat and cold but easily shields us from magnetic fields. The strong hygroscopic property allows moisture to be stored in rainy seasons and released in drier periods. Wooden furniture not only makes the environment in which we live more balanced and healthy, but it is also good for our planet. Recent studies define that in order to support and certify the eco-sustainability of a product, it is necessary to analyze the 5 phases of the product's life cycle: Acquisition of raw materials, production, distribution and storage, use and end of life. Wood from sustainably managed forests makes it possible to produce green and eco-sustainable furniture.
