RAIMONDO chest of drawers with 4 drawers

Measurements L.125 D.53 H.113 cm

RAIMONDO is a chest of drawers with four drawers. The top is finely worked both on the front and on the sides and has a rounded workmanship with underframes on the edge. The rounded line is echoed by the front composed of large drawers that give a harmonious line and a very elegant aesthetic. All the drawers are inlaid with a thread that runs along the entire perimeter, just a few centimeters from the edge. The first drawer is enriched with a floral inlay decorating the lock that allows you to enclose valuables inside. The sides are smooth to highlight the finely carved uprights that end in four sturdy baroque-shaped feet. To further embellish the chest of drawers we find an inlay on the base that echoes the workmanship of the first drawer. Raimondo has a typically classic soul and encompasses all the main fine craftsmanship such as carving, inlay, curvatures that make the product of the highest quality and value.

CARVING Carving is a form of artistic processing by which hollow or relief ornaments are made on wooden surfaces. The process consists of sculpting an object using special tools. By removing excess wood, you can highlight the figure, design or ornament you want to represent. The technique is handed down by master craftsmen and is acquired with experience, dedication and good taste. The carving represents a decorative aspect that enhances the artifact, giving it a touch of quality and value.

INLAY Inlay is an ancient process consisting of the decoration of objects with designs made of various materials. In furniture, this technique consists of cutting out slabs of wood of various essences, placing them side by side in order to form designs and decorations. Painstaking patience, knowledge of wood essences, drawing skills and cabinet-making experience. An inlaid piece of furniture will become the protagonist in any environment, giving a touch of originality and value.

DOVETAIL JOINT The dovetail joint is a very resistant type of joint that allows two wooden planks to be joined at right angles. Thanks to the use of special milling machines, the edge of both axes is engraved, forming a trapezoidal-shaped joint similar to the tail of a swallow. The resulting joint has a very elegant appearance and is intended to withstand continuous and consistent stress.
